Samuel Ross: Fabrication Technician or Miracle Worker?

The word "fabricate" is synonymous with words like, 'make', 'manufacture', 'produce', 'engineer', 'formulate', 'construct' and 'put together'. These words along with terms like 'miracle worker' and 'master fabricator' have been attributed to the owner and operator of FabTech Machine Shop, Mr. Samuel Ross. A native of Guyana who migrated to the shores of Antigua in 1992, Mr. Ross has gained both the respect and admiration of many mechanics and car owners in and around the twin island state of Antigua and Barbuda. His ingenuity precedes him as he has proven that he has the capacity to transform that which is old into something new; to recreate or fabricate, if you will, anything that comes into his hands. He has been working in his field since 1981, and brings a wealth of experience to our shores from his shop which he originally opened in January 2008, in the Cassada Gardens area. Supported by a team of qualified staff who has his spirit and confidence in their work, FabTech draws clientele from the East, West, North and the South.

Sammy, as he is affectionately known as, is of a humble disposition but is very serious about what he does. He has a passion for his work and for years has worked diligently day and night, sometimes spending long hours of the night in his workshop because he wants to give his customers the best work possible. He wants to make sure that he transforms that old engine block into a brand new dynamo. Mr. Ross listed his specific area of expertise as, "Engine Block Re-boring," but it doesn't matter what the job is, the professional mechanic, the tinkerer, the car enthusiast and even the butcher, baker and candlestick maker all search for "Sammy" to save the day.

FabTech offers a variety of services which are inclusive of but are not limited to:

      · Crankshaft Regrinding

      · Engine Block Re-boring

      · Brake Rotors & Drums

      · Mig & Tig Welding

      · Aluminum & Stainless Steel

      · General Machining

      · Fabricating

Crankshaft grinding is a specialty business and it takes a specialist to provide you with quality work for your money, someone who will definitely save you the need to purchase a new one. You must keep in mind that there are a lot of ways to grind a crank, but many are done sloppy.

Perhaps it's because of a lack of know how; using a worn out grinder, or they just don't care, or they may be trying to cheat on quality. FabTech, on the other hand, stands by the quality of its work and many of its customers give testimonials to this fact. When looking for the best in the field, a specialist at work, you are looking for Samuel Ross at FabTech Machine Shop.
