Safety Tip #1

Dim lights or rapid signal blinking are indicators that the bulbs could be reaching the end of its useful life. Drivers should also periodically check that all external lights are functioning properly by placing someone outside the car to observe if the vehicle's indicators, brake and headlights are working properly.

Safety Tip #2

Familiarize yourself with the operation of your car's jack so you'll know how to use it in case o f a flat.

Safety Tip #3

Make sure your wiper blades are functioning effectively, as they affect your visibility during serious rain storms. Also, ensure your window wash is always full to ensure any road residue and spray generated from vehicles on the road can be quickly and effectively removed from the windshield.

Safety Tip #4

Never leave children or pets in an unattended vehicle, even for a minute. A locked car sitting in the sun quickly turns into an oven. Temperatures can climb from 78 to 100 degrees in just 3 minutes.

Safety Tip #5

Lights, including high beams, turn signals and brake lights must be in working condition and headlights must be aimed correctly. Always ensure your headlamps are clear from oxidation which affects the ability to adequately light the road. Be sure to check your headlights, brake lights, and other bulbs monthly for damage or blown bulbs.
